When You Need Them

We place AZ (Class 1 tractor-trailer), DZ (Class 3 straight truck), and G-class drivers for cargo vans and light commercial vehicles. We also work with owner-operators and can source drivers with endorsements such as TDG, air brakes, or WHMIS where your operation requires them.

For temporary assignments, we aim to fill most requests within 24–72 hours depending on availability and requirements. Permanent recruitment typically follows a 5–10 business day process from intake to candidate presentation.

Yes. Every driver completes a pre-placement screening that includes a CVOR review, 3-year MTO driving abstract, criminal background check, licence verification, and employment reference checks. We don't put a driver in front of you until they've cleared all checks.

Yes. All temporary and contract drivers remain on Lifetime Freight's payroll during the assignment and are covered under our WSIB and general liability insurance. This protects your operation from co-employment exposure for the duration of the placement.

Yes — temp-to-permanent conversion is available and is a popular option for clients who want a trial period before committing to a direct hire. Conversion terms are outlined clearly in your service agreement from the start.

Our primary network covers Ontario — including the GTA, southern Ontario, Windsor-Detroit corridor, and Ottawa. For contract and permanent placements, we can source drivers nationally across Canada.
